I am both pleased and honoured to be Honorary Treasurer and Captain for 2023. The club is not rich but in these difficult times I am pleased to say we are financially secure which I believe reflects our status as the best nine hole course in the area!

I think our strength is the brilliant atmosphere around the club which dispels any myths about elitism in golf clubs. Both our male full and social with golf membership are currently full with a small waiting lists but I can promise any visitors a warm welcome with a quality golfing experience .

The clubhouse can be rented for private functions and we have had numerous positive reviews on the facilities. Social membership is available for a nominal fee and our bar manager/stewardess, Sally, is very approachable and helpful and helps to organise some great social functions.

I am looking forward to working with our lovely Lady Captain, Lesley, who is friendly and works hard to promote the social side of the club. Frank is our rabbit captain and our three captains charity is Alzheimer’s Research UK.
